I think it was Billy Idol, Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses. That was a long time ago. lol
I didn't really have a favorite band, I think my two fav. songs were "Word Up" (?) and "Don't Know Much, but I Know I Love You" -Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville.
"Red, Red Wine" by UB40 was a fun one.

I was born in 82, and I always loved heavy metal, as far back as I can remember. I heard Metallica's "... And Justice For All" when it came out, and it really made an impact on me. They were my favorite band until I heard Diamond Head - the band that Metallica emulated in the garage days.

The Doors and composer John Williams played a huge role in my childhood as well, and remain some of my favorite artists to this day.

Cyndi Lauper was an 80s phenomenon and I still think she sits atop the throne of pop.
