Lets put it this way. I don't plan on putting up a fight. And I hope my wife respects my wishes.

I don't believe I can face death, Period. But, I do know I will be with Jesus. I have seen people suffer with so much pain that they welcome death. We really don't know until we come to that place of crossing the bridge.

Not much you can do to avoid it. I chuckle when people say life, as bad as it can be, is better than the alternative. As a Christian, I know where I'm going and there's tons of hope in knowing that.

Does it matter? Death is a part of life. No one can escape it. For me, it's simply a part of life that requires nothing from me.

I have seen many people suffering with pain, disfigurement, disease tell me they welcome death. It is a place that no one has returned from to tell us about. I feel it is another passage for our souls to pass through. The older I get, the less I fear it.
