If your parents are millionairs, then don't believe these stup*d guys, it's not true... If not, then...i regret to inform you... YES!

But if seriously, nobody here will be able to answer you this question... if only the Sir God will get down to the Earth and write a comment for answers.yahoo.com

p.s.: Don't think about such things... live your life as it is and thanks God for every day!

Obviously this is not a simplistic question and it is too early in the morning for me to even attempt a long drawn out dissertation. In general life most of us would consider life to by unfair, but as long as we have freedom to make our own choices then life cannot be responsible for the outcome of inappropriate choices. If you drive drunk and have an accident that cause serious harm to you. Is life unfair or were you irresponsible by drinking and driving unwisely?

Those things that may indeed be unfair is when we have no choice in the matter like who our parents are, why is one person short and another tall, fat or skinny, handsome or ugly.

Much of life's unfairness depends a great deal on your view point. She's beautiful, who? She. Oh no, not her. Yuck. Life is very subjective.

Life is also dependent on your attitude one day stubbing your toe is no great problem the next day it causes your day to fall apart then I suppose it depends on how badly you hurt your toe.

There are so many twists and turns to this question that could go on infinitum. If you have an uplifting attitude about life and try you best to make proper choices, life should treat you reasonably well. Those things that we are not in charge of and have no choice but to accept, are out of our realm to do anything about other than hope for the best and maybe pray.

Curiosity is a good quality to possess, but don't spend too much time being curious about the fairness of life, but instead be curious about living life. It really is short and is meant to be lived.

How can one distinguish between 'I fell life is unfair' and 'Life really is unfair' ? Only God would be the true judge.

Do you really have no thoughts on the subject ? 'Life' is the key word. Everything revolves around whether you continue after death or not. Re-read the Gospel account of Dives and Lazarus, though that is not directly intended to answer your question.

Many think life unfair because they think everything ends with death, or think there is no God.

It isn't that life is unfair, it's that the world we live in can produce an unfair state of being for any life.
I don't care if you live in Turkey, Chile, Iceland, England, United States, Calcutta India, or Meaford Ontario in Canada!
It is the conditions that we are in that is unfair. How we react to that dictates the quality of our own lives. Our response to the rest of the world in or out of our own sphere is what will make our life. Fair or unfair.

I have no doubt the majority of people will tell you life is unfair. Life has let people exploit & dominate all other living thing on this planet. And still they cry & call it unfair to them. Seems somewhat hypocritical to me. Life is a blessing in disguise, but most people never learn to recognize & appreciate it for what it is. Somehow this is Life's fault, so they blame it for their misery & disapointment.
God died of pity for people like them(according to Nietzsche), because he 'loved' them. And what do the people call most sacred, that which is going to save them? Love!

I will be shocked if even 1 person agree's with this

No one ever said life was fair. Just look around and proof abounds.
The other people mistake is "All men are created equal" We'll they're not. People are not equal, some are smarter, some richer, some taller. The statement completed is "All men are created equal under the law." An admirable concept but lacking in practice.
The other statement is: "All men are created equal in the eyes of God." I hope so. But I have some uncertainty about that too. Old Testament gives preference to the Hebrews. I will settle for God just judging me equally with others and allowing Jesus to equally absolve me of my sins.

it sure not is,example a lion eats little animal, like how unfair is that for the little animal? but; mostly only the way ppl think is unfair, most problems we have are only in our head,, its like something inside us is telling we have to feel guilty and saying how much your lifesucks is actually :

1) a scream for attention
2)delusional (unlogicall) thinking
3) being too hardon yourself and even overreacting.

life sucks if you say life sucks, life rocks if you say so. Its all a matter of mind, our mind and fantasies can get so deep that we tend to misplace reality from the Actual problems; we feel like dying sometimes, but if you don't let your mind get over you, you could lead a peaceful happy life. at least thats my own personal philosophy..bye.

its a hard 1 ..... i think life is what you make it, but i also no that some people don't get the chance to make anything of there lives. good and bad things happen people die and baby's are born, i think for every bad there is a good. some people get more of one than the other so i suppose life is unfair things should happen equally....
lol

If so many people genuinely feel that life is unfair.... we would have too many cases of suicide!! Everyone of us, except the very few who decide to commit suicide, knows how precious life is... I think it is escapism or hypocrisy to call life 'unfair'.... life may be tough, but it is worth it and in fact it is easy life that may not be worth it!!
