Someone told me that the food court has a microwave and toaster available. Can anyone use it? Please confirm.

I called to double check. Apparently, there are no microwaves or toaster ovens for guests to use at the All Star Food Court areas and no microwaves are available to have in the rooms of Value Resorts either. However, if you or someone in your traveling party has a dietary need where you have specific meals that need to be heated, you can speak with anyone at the All Star Front Desk Concierge and they will print out a list of restaurants and resorts which will heat those up for you.

I don't remember a microwave, but there is a self serve toaster (belt driven industrial, not pop up) off by the condiments and beverages. No one will care if you toast your own bread instead Disney bought bagel in it. Disney can do all sorts of things for people with food allergies if you call ahead. It could also be worth buying a $12 toaster and packing it with you if the allergy is a big one.
There is hot water to be had from the coffee machines for "just add hot water" foods like cup o' soups and oatmeal.
Go to www.allearsnet.com and search "food allergies" for handy information.
Have a great time!

Yes I do believe they do. From what I remember @ Pop Century they had a microwave and a toaster in the food court for customer use.
All the resorts are basically the same.
If you need one in your room you can request one, but you might be charged for it.
Call the hotel that you are staying in to confirm it.

My youngest is allergic to everything and what he isn't allergic too, my husband is. Call ahead, talk to the dining reservations department and tell them of your son's dietary needs. They will automatically have the chef come out to your table and if needed prepare his food specifically to meet his needs. Disney takes food allergies very seriously and go the extra mile and then some to help parents and their children enjoy their Disney experience. You can even call ahead and speak to the chef before you arrive in order to make sure they have the right ingredients on hand for the day that you arrive at their restaurant. Hope this helps - for more information about food allergies go to http://www.foodallergy.org/.

No the rooms at the All star resorts are simple basic rooms. Two double beds and not much else.
They don't offer microwaves, toasters or even coffeemakers in the rooms at All Star.
