No, I don't want it to be banned. I don't want anyone to be forced to participate, but I also don't want anyone to be forbidden to. I want individual freedom and mutual respect.

WOW......we have a Scrooge among us. What are you talking politically correct. There is nothing wrong with Christmas. You know people have been celebrating Christmas before all this Politically Correct crap came to be and now I think that if you don't like Christmas just don't celebrate it, but don't try to make is bad for everyone else. Is is against your religion or something. If it is then follow your own beliefs and let us follow ours.

No but I'm beginning to wish we could ban Political Correctness People and Political Correctness itself - because it's really nothing but double talk for people with their own hidden political agendas- they could never unite before - they can now under the guise of Political Correctness.

the only garbage about Christmas is the over consumption of materialism. Christmas is not about presents and gifts but about celebrating the birth of Christ. And if you bother to research other cultures, you will see that similar celebrations happen in other parts of the world such as a woman bringing children treats in their clog shoes left outside at night. Basically its for children and being together with family and sharing LOVE. Not that you care at all Grinch!

The Constitution of the United States does not guarantee you the right to not be offended for all you over-zealous PCers out there. If you don't like it, don't participate, don't watch, don't listen, etc, etc...ya know, what MOST NORMAL people do when they don't particularly like something, instead of trying to change the entire society to please a small handful. There's plenty of crap going on in the world for everyone to worry about. Do you really have NOTHING better to do?

Absolutely not. I would prefer they ban being PC as it interferes with our rights. Like the right to celebrate our religious holidays without persecution.
