Lampoons European Vacation (1985) when he is a teenager?? I dont get it and its bugging me! lol

I watched it last night too while wrapping presents - its so funny - I forget how much I like that slapstick American trashy stuff! Fab Festive Fun!

All of the vacation movies have different children. that is one of the things about the movie. The fact is the original Rusty, Anthony Michael Hall, became Farmer Ted in Sixteen Candles and a member of the Brat Pack so from that point forward they just kept changing the actors that played the kids.

i think it is part of the Joke, the fact that both of the kids change dramatically, like in the first Vacation film Rusty was small and Blond then came the European when he was tall and Ginger, to the Xmas when he was smaller younger and had Black hair! its same with the Daughter Audrey

It's part of the joke. They are played by different actors to make fun of how sometimes sequels will replace actors (IE Julianne Moore in Hannibal rather then Jodie Foster) and they choose people so outlandishly NOT like the other set that you can't help but notice.

lol. yer he seems to be. i dont get it because european vacation was bought out before christmas, yet the kids are yonger in the xmas one.lol.

yes, I really wish they used at least a similar looking kids in each movie,but they didnt, oh well.
