speed is irrelevant to a batsman. its all about timing and placement of bat. Even a 160 km/hr ball can be smashed to boundary, with timing alone. It would not even require any strength from batsman to make it reach boundary, the speed alone will carry it.

really pace is nothing to most batsmen. We have seen shoaib akhtar of pakistan going wicketless or conceding too many runs too in a lot of one days.

who cares about media?

a non-cricket person will be afraid of such headlines, but not a batsman with several years of experience.

Also it is highly unlikely tait will bowl at 160 km/hr. That is like breaking the world record for fastest delivery (by shoaib akthar at 160 km/hr).

160 km/hr is the maximum for human capability and if tait claims he will become that, then its pure fake story.

I have seen tait's bowling in world cup 2007, his speed was around 136 km/hr which is usual for most pace bowlers.

Shoaib Akhtar of Pakistan similarly threatened to blow out the Indians with his speed bowling but what happened. Indians found him easiest to score of. Likewise, Shaun Tait also be similarly be treated. Speed alone is not the factor for good bowling which Shaun will find out sooner than later.

Mmmmm.... Been out of the loop for a long time....So Taity is trying to scare the poor lil Indians with mere words. If it works then shame on Indian cricket. But I expect they will crumble against us and be duly scalped as most teams are on our home ground, and elsewhere for that matter!

Yeah the Aussies really go beyond the limit sometimes. It's OK to make comments about the opponents before a match(everyone does that) but this is ridiculous

Australia are famous for mind game before start of any series to put opposition under pressure. they are doing the same against Indian too and there should be no surprise in that.

No team can handle this acceptable and left livid bowling combination , their velocity and length is so astounding that they do no longer supply any possibility to hit them freely. Mike Hussey is maximum suitable cuz he has the flexibility to accomplish one guy teach and furnish a victory stand whilst the entire batting line fails.
