It dropped in a puddle,
but as soon as i saw it like 3 seconds later
i took out the battery and completely dried it.
hopefully no damage was done.
has this ever happened to anyone before?
& if it did how did they fix it

My sidekick Lx dropped in a puddle

Damage is done. Electricty and water don't mix. I once had a Razr fell into a cooler filled with ice water (about 2 seconds). It still work after that, but must've burnt something in there because the battery only lasted 8 hrs. standby.

usually have to replace it - when it quits working
not the battery as the problem - it's the phone
the water corrupts the circuit boards
wait till it quits - hopefully it won;t
and if it stops - then hopefully you have insurance

It was fine, just needed to let it dry out.
My friend put hers in the oven to dry, and it melted. (Quite literally)
