I'm making a last minute christmas goft for my mom. I want pictures of her childhood as well as pictures of my sister and I. Any suggestions?

You can iron a photo onto one layer of fabric that isn't attached to anything. It's too late for the down blanket. Also if you try to do any sewing on it, the feathers will start coming out. BUT you can make a nice cover with your photo on it. Buy a sheet (or 2 sheets) big enough to cover the blanket twice. Iron your photo on, and then fold the sheet and run a seam up one side and along one end. Voila - instant duvet cover! Now the down blanket will be protected, since it isn't readily washable.

Down? Real down filling? I doubt it.

You can iron them onto something else and then appliqué the something else into position.
