Vanilla Ice claimed that it was not the same track that was used on the Queen/David Bowie colaboration "Under Pressure" because on his song, the bass line is altered slightly. However, the piano riff is still the same. Queen sued him for using that song without permission and later settled with him. It should be pointed out that a lot of early rap artists got into trouble this way. Apparently, they thought that if they only used samples, the original artists wouldn't notice or want to sue them for using their music without their permission.
