Mm, because even if it's a natural part of life and is a daily process (or weekly, for the constipated people out there), most of society still deems it an inappropriate behavior that cannot be carried out in public view. Depends on which society and culture you're in though; what may seem totally natural to one may make you seem ridiculously out of place in another.

In some countries you can. My Sociology teacher told us a story about when she was in Tibet (I believe it was Tibet anyways). She said that everyone just stops & goes to the bathroom where ever they are. Sounds a little unsanitary, but hey, to each their own I guess!

It's unhygenic and has the potential to spread disease. That's why you can't poo in public and I ask what you do with your own toilet paper after.

me too. its so gross. i never use public restrooms to pooh. only for peeing. but guys get to stand up. so its adifferent story. and male restrroms are much dirtier than womans.
