dude, the ticket prices don't go straight into the players pockets. the clubs are businesses, they're trying to make a profit and you can bet that the chief execs will be taking a pretty good cut, money whore-ing peter kenyon for example. why would you leave the biggest club in the world for a new money man-made monstrosity, jack up the prices for a whole prawn-sandwich generation? i frequently have this arguement with anyone who blasts footballer wages. it's an entertainment industry and a business one. compare the highest paid player wages to those of actors, no where near. the most mediocre actors, as long as they are famous, are getting that and more. fact is I'd rather pay the wage of someone with real ability that can't be picked up one day when you decide you want a bit more attention and suddenly you have it because you got a pretty face. people say footballers get paid to much as a massive generalisation, compare how many footballers get paid anywhere near top wage to how many footballers there are playing in leagues. they are only the very very top few. compare this to business, the big business execs of the big businesses of the world are bringing in the same but no one cares because no one knows. the media set the agenda which people accept unquestionably. I so agree with you dude, it's not all straight and some players are getting paid so much more for their high profiles than their skill, beckham for example. but nowadays that's true in other entertainment fields and it's always the fans who foot the bill.

See, I will explain, target a bank (one which has a huge safe deposit vault), once the bank closes in the evenings, you can always pay a visit through any entry/exit door which you may have to break.
