Im on nuvaring and took it out/stopped it a week early to hopefully bring it on early and usually i et it exactly 2 days after taking it out but i havent gotten it yet? is this normal when screwing with your cycle? i use both bc and condoms as protection. im just going on vacation and dont want to have it during it! wondering if anyone has had the same problem/ will i get a period? will it be thrown off?

NEXT time you do this, before you do it get approval from your DOCTOR.

You took it out too early so it will mess with your cycle. I would call up the doc and inform him of what you did and ask what to do from there.

Next time let your period come when it usually does, then take tampons and pads and stop letting your period run your life! HEhe, I went on a cruise to the Caribbean and had my period, but I also had FUN! :)

Well you could have just kept inserting your ring when it's supposed to be the ring-free week and it wouldn't have came. There might have been some spotting, but there shouldn't be a flow. You really shouldn't take it out early since it can screw up your cycle a little bit. You should get it, but don't really know when since your body is used to getting it a week more.

It's because your body is trying to regulate itself after being on birth control all those years. It's normal.

No telling now. In the future when you don't want to have a messy period at unwanted time instead of trying to start it early the best thing to do is just skip it. Just start your new pack as soon as you finish last. that way your not throwing your hormones all out of wack

im not a girl, but my girlfriend is on birthcontrol and ive done my research, you cant do that. just becaues you want it to come early doesnt mean it will. youve been pumping your body with estrogen for too long for it to respond quickly. bad idea stopping. you need to continue ur pills!

the only way to adjust your period is to start BC late, not end it early, you might not even get your period...i'd call your doctor, and stop messing with your BC
