Ok when Y2J and the Save Us Promos aired it was putting Y2J over and the market for him to comeback to should have been used. His 2nd week there he interrupted Santino and it turned into a match and Santino got some heat on him for a couple minutes during the match.
On the 15th Anniversary, RVD kills Santino and Santino only gets one offensive move in. Loses to him in 2 minutes.
Now WWE are wondering why the return didn't work effectively. Lets just say horrible booking after a great build. So WWE point the fingers at yourselves not elsewhere.
What do you all think about it?

i agree with you 100%. i also dont think jericho deserved to be in the title picture right away anyways. so im actually kind of glad its not working out. i would have rather seen him work his way back up and sometime after mania get a title shot. hopefully some mic battles with jbl will help him out since most fans now only care about the mic skills.
anyways the whole match with santino killed him especially since rvd squashed santino in what 35 seconds and it took jericho what 7 mins to beat him.

At first i thought you were going to talk about Jericho against Umaga but you rise a good point about Santino. I think it's just a way for WWE to try to kiss Rob's butt into getting him to come back. Or maybe Jericho is one of those guys who wants to put the younger guys over and RVD might just want to come back and dominate. OR as you said it could just be the horrible booking. And i don't have a hard time believing the last one.

i agree with this question. its really sad that Santino got beat in a squash by a non contract wrestler. Y2J's return would've been great had WWE not of overhyped the return so much. Also the Orton and Y2J angle was the wrong way to go for his first feud.

Santino sucks.His fake accent really is insulting to real Italians.But even worse was letting him in the ring with a real star like Rvd.They are trying to make a lower card wrestler into a mid card man.Not gonna happen.Rvd's return should have been with some one bigger say Hardy or some one up to his level.A great match Rvd-vs-Y2J or Mvp that would have been better.

Yes, Shane, really, REALLY unintelligent of WWE to do that.
However, if RVD had shown up on any RAW outside the 15th Anniversary Special, maybe he would've been worked into a longer match with Santino.

Just another horrible example of Storyline Writing Gone Awry in the WWE.
Vince really needs to get His act together on that end, it's pathetic

maybe because rvd left recently and y2j left 2 years ago and rvd does not have ring rust
