I'm sorry but my adopted sons have their own tradition and would be heartbroken if I tried to change it. They always tell me to remember to buy cookies and to have a cold Coke ready for Santa each year. I would prefer they put out a nice Marquita and some cheese and crackers or a glass of wine and cheese and crackers but I don't think they would go for it. :o)

I throw glitter-oats on the grass for the reindeer on christmas eve. Great for kids, they love it.

I make him a mini-thanksgiving meal. that way he's too full to carry his sack of presents back to his sleigh & he leaves them for me!

as a kid i used to put out a coca cola. that was it, my parents wouldnt let me waste any other food (typical jewish behavior)
