Yes, I would let him watch it. I might be unusual though. I have to first tell you that I haven't seen SAW IV. I have seen I, II and III, though. I would have let him see them. You may "really" think I am "awful" but my 10 year old and I sat and watched those 3 together here at home as he loves those type of movies. So I am sure I would allow a 14 year old to do this in this situation. I have a 13 year old son, who I would allow to do this but he gets grossed out at these and refuses to watch them. He also refuses to watch anything remotely "scary" after dark time. :o)

NO. They put that on TV yesterday and it was SAW 11 , I couldn't even get half way through it..it is rather morbid and horrific really.. I wouldn't advise it at all.

Let them watch something else like Armageddon, Independence Day, some film with a lot of action or even some great comedy movie-but not morbid action.

No. 14 is too young for those types of movies...They are rated R for a reason. Maybe at 16 or 17 but not 14.

Well, generally no. However, it really depends on the kid. My son probably if he felt he could handle it he is very logical and can differentiate between real and movie, but not my daughter because she is hyper-sensitive (like me). It would be worth discussion with the kid.

I never seen the movie, I have no kids, (but the "R" rated movie my parents took me to was "The Blues Brothers" back in 1980, & it's a comedy they'd love.-my favorite was the big car chase, esp. through the huge mall)

No. Those movies are just gross and pointless. I wouldn't even let my 20 year old self watch them.

I guess you could let him watch them if you're purposely breeding him to be a mass murderer.

I'd let him, it's just a movie not like it condones violence or swearing, it's a creepy guy in a mask lol xD
