Being with my parents and brothers. We lost our oldest brother the 27th of last year and we feel the need to surround mom and dad with love and family. Of course with me being the only girl I am with them every year.
But,yes, just being together has always been the most important to me at Christmas time.

Well believe it or not, I am hoping that someone will be giving
me some new speakers for my computer. I have been without
some for about a year now. And I never think about them
unless something comes through I need sound for. And since
I don't get out much lately, that's another reason I haven't
bought any. So hopefully I will.
This year, we will be going to our daughters' for Christmas
Day. The first for a Christmas dinner ever. So I hope that it
will be a decent day and that we're all in harmony. I never
know with our daughter. She tends to be cranky from being
overworked and hardly ever home because she travels out
of state sometimes or across the state at other times. They
will be home on Christmas Eve by themselves tho, and that
is something she's wanted for years. Normally we spend it
with them. And they go to the inlaws on Christmas Day. So
I don't know how they'll fit the inlaws in this year. Normally,
we've taken the back seat. So it will be interesting as to what
the format will be once we get there. If they go to the inlaws
at night, we may see the old format of eat and unwrap in
a hurry and be on our way home in an hour and a half. So
I really won't be looking forward to anything in particular. But
it would be nice to get some new speakers LOL.

Being off work for 2 weeks with pay. At least I will be able to get most or all the trees, limbs and branches cleaned up in mom and dads yard that fell during the ice storm. The yard is covered with them. Still more falling seems like every day.

I'm still trying to convince my husband NOT to go to Rusk to his Grandfather's for Christmas.
I am still very upset with the man, who kept lunging at my husband after the staples were removed from his chest after open heart surgery. He's in his ninety's and was jealous of all of the attention my husband was getting.
My husband has always treated that man so nice, feeding him steak and lobster, shrimp, you name it.
I will never bake that man another pie or serve him his meal, as he has thoroughly ticked me off
I just don't think it will be very much fun to be around him.
The rest of the family yes, but not him

Sitting down to a great meal that I didn't have to cook, with my family - and later on playing with the grandies, then after that a long bubble bath and a snuggle session with my husband in front of the TV.

Christmas Eve---------All four of my grandchildren, my son
(their father) my granddaughter's boy friend, shall be at my house for a couple hours--------It will be the first time they will
all be here at the same time in several years! It still feels
unreal! I have been busy baking their favorite cookies, and it is a joy to do it for them.
A joyous Christmas to you one and all, and let us remember
the less fortunate alone or separated from loved ones for what ever reason. Sorrows and needs still exist be it Christmas or not, We pray for peace.

Seeing all the kids and their kids. And the joy in their faces when they open the presents. With all the noisy toys I got them I am beginning to think I should have included ear plugs for the parents. LOL
