Can you have sex when you're on your period?

Yes you can. But it would be kinda messy though. Just a warning, but having sex during your period will not prevent pregnancy.

One can, naturally, but you Will have to make some extra provisions for the mess..
I usually have a hot bath, and then insert a "Dutch Cap", which fits over the uterus mouth, blocking the flow for a while.
Do the deed, then remove the cap and have another bath...
Good luck.
By the way, I know that some girls prefer to wear a tampon instead and say that it works also.

yes, there is nothing stopping you. Put a towel or something down as it can be a little messy. No medical reason not to infact it can help to ease cramps as well.

Yes you can. Its a personal choice. If you and your partner feel comfortable enough with each other, why not? You should still use birth control and protection.
