YES! And I have been burned. I tend to think people are nice and honest with good integrity like myself. I have been hosed for thousands of dollars because I fell for a sob story. There are men and women out there that are heartless. They could cut your throat, watch you bleed to death while eating a cheeseburger! Trust is now something that has to be earned. It is sad because there are good people in this world. Unfortunately I do not trust anyone now. It is kind of sad!

I know I give all my trust until someone proves to be not worthy of it. I wind up getting hurt some of the time but not most of the time. Follow your gut, it's usually right. I could never be one to make someone earn my trust first. I think I'd be missing out on a lot. Usually when you give trust, you get trust and that's the best basis for friendship.

No. I've been hurt so many times that it takes a very long time for me to trust people. But once I'm close to someone, I trust them with my life.

Yes, I do. I tend to take people at their word, until proven otherwise. I only give people one chance, then I don't trust them ever again.

I have "problems" trusting people but like the saying goes "Never give your trust away, you'll end up paying til your dying day"

Yes I tend to give most people the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I do have a tendency to trust strangers more than I probably should. Aren't we all doing this very thing here on this site? How ironic, huh?!?
