I believe even mindless questions are not mindless.. cz' it is your curiosity that makes you ask them.. just like how little children have the weirdest of questions and doubts..
Now itself... you were wonderign why there are so many weird questions in yahoo answers and why people bother answering them.. right? So that is your query. You wanted to find out something and wanted to know the answer from hose very people who answer all these questions... Just curious...
That is the same reason why people have so many careful as well as mindless questions...
& after all... it sure feels good when you think you have helped someone...

Lolz! advising in a way is addictive;-)

It gives me the feel of power that only a dictator can feel.

Humans are mindless anyway; answering questions in a way that makes them think I am on their side and they support me, well its the only way to feel the power of being a dictator without feeling evil like a dictator.

Heil Me. And God bless the United States of Myselfia.

Well....I started answering fish questions one day because I know a lot about fish. Next thing I knew...I was on here every day.

I only answer at work....so I guess it keeps me from getting bored, and it lets me socialize in only the weird way that Yahoo would think up.

A chance to pass on my life experience, no matter how geeky. I take most questions seriously, and do give them some thought, after all, the only poor question is the unasked.
