Yes, the Hula Hoop is my thing!!!!
when I was four I won a Hula Hoop Contest and was way stoked!!!! My uncles made a big deal about it and so did my father......My father told that story ever year for years.......
He would put the song on The chipmunk son " Christmas don't be late"
Then he would tell the story of me wining the Hula Hoop Contest......Then he would hand me a Hula Hoop and I would show him I still have moves !!!!I I know it is
not like I played major league baseball but it always put a smile on my old man's face so..
** Yes, I can still do the hula hoop. Around my neck, then to my arms, then to my waist, back to my neck, then drop the hoop to my knees, up again to my waist, then one leg and then the next......I also collect toys that the dolls do the "Hula Hoop"
The chipmuck song
Christmas, Christmas
time is near
We've been good but can't last
Hurry Christmas
Hurry Fast
Want a plane that loops the loop
Me, I want a Hula Hoop
**(Something like that)

I remember my parents sitting in lawn chairs watching me hula hoop for what seemed like hours!! I have tried hula hooping again recently, and it dropped pretty quickly to the ground. LOL

I still have one, and yes I still can! It's great exercise. Remember the "Shoop Hoop"? with something in it that sounded like gravel that went ssshhoop everytime it went around.

Nope, and I can't rollerskate either, neither can I play football of any kind. Getting old is sad and boring.
