why do you find this the most important part or attribute of a person?

Personality for me.
Everything else (physical attributes) will change and fade with time, but if a person has a great personality now, it can only get better with time. A person who is engaging is more attractive to me than one who just has looks.

Eyes are the most important. As Shakespeare observed, the eyes are the windows to the soul. You can see a person's smile and personality in their smile, why would anyone concern themselves with anything else?!?

Smile and eyes. I want them to have a sweet welcoming smile, and dreamy eyes....if you kind of get that. Eyes that seem deep, y'know? It wouldn't hurt if they were in shape thought too.
