if you know who the manufacture is you can look up if its been recalled. I understand with everything in the news about lead how it can be a little nerve racking but it should be ok, I think there are lead test out there where you can purchase these test strips or something and see how high the lead content is.
Since you opened it and boiled it I dont think you can return it and if you are really worried about it you can always throw it away, I didnt use teething rings with my daughter, Instead I would wet a wash cloth and freeze it and let her suck on that. or I would let her suck on the frozen popsicles that are in plastic and taste like frozen koolaid, they have sugar free ones but i dont remember the brand name.

I would just chuck it to be on the safe side and i knew what you ment when you said you boiled it and opened it, and there has been so much stuff recalled from China its better to be on the safe side then have something happen

You can't return it if you already opened and sterilized it. You can check the website that Lynne D provided you & also this website:

Other than that - good luck! I went to 3 different stores trying to find teething toys that were NOT from China and couldn't find one. I finally settled for one with no PVC (Bright Stars teething ring).

throw it out! there are plenty of other chewing toys for babies that don't contain mystery liquid. as for fear of lead do an internet search on the product--there is a website that I don't have handy that lists the companies and products that have been recalled. don't risk baby's health!

Probably can't return it, so trash it.
Most of those things are made in China, because people don't want to pay the proper price for things.
Try pickles - cold, wet and salty. Thats what I used!

Because of all the media attention on children's items from China with lead, etc. I would not use it. So what if you don't have the bill; what's it worth, a couple of dollars. What is your child's life worth? Hmmmm....
