I live in Pennsylvania and had this lady make up false harassment charges. When I took it to court me and my lawyer talked to the police officer and he plus the judge came to an understanding that the charges were totally false. The charges were totally dropped and the ticket was thrown out because I have never seen the lady before and never seen her after she also did not come to court. My question is do I still need to have my record expunged even if the ticket was thrown out and the charges were dropped?

Thanks so much. I was never arrested and the charges were dropped.

You should go online and see if you have a record from this. You can also contact the court to see if you can get your record checked.

If this case was dropped then you should have no charges on file against you. If you were arrested you will have an arrest record. You will need to get a lawyer to have that removed.

Since the charges were dropped you should have no trouble at all.
