as i watch my cat
on his little tree
i think to myself
how nice it would be
to lie there and sleep
not a care in the world
just sitting and listening
to the sound of his purr
Wouldn't it be nice
to be a cat?
wouldn't it be nice
to be like that?

I'm adult but at times admire my lazy, sleepy pet pup catching a nap on my "TV Remote Control". See avatar.

I once had a cat, that liked to sit on everyones lap.
Besides his purr, his breath smelt like crap.
But that was my cat , better known as Mr. slap Happy"
