Yes, and my mouth is watering. I like to eat it the Imperial style, that is to put a teaspoon of caviar (sturgeon roe) on an oyster (chilled preferably) and a few drops of lemon with a bit of tomato sauce, egg yolk and chopped onions. Some people don't like it in the beginning but its normal, its a taste that has to be acquired. Try a little bit a few times and soon you will be addicted to it.. The best caviar comes from Iran (couldn't afford that) but I think the Russian or Chinese caviar are just as good. Luckily few Chinese liked caviar and I remember the time about 20 years ago in Beijing, the caviar was sold at about US$3.00 a pound which was immediately snatched up by the ex-pats, eventually, Holiday Inn Hotel took over the franchise and no more was available in the market. (goodwill stores).

I tried all the kind of caviar and, I do not care for them at all...
Do you know there's a "new type" of caviar in the culinary world? It was put into the restaurant market in Paris, France, to see how it goes, if people accept it or not. Then upon results it may go international.
The new king are... "Snail Eggs"...
Would you taste them?
I would and I surely hope they're better than the fish ones...
-(Caviar "ARE" fish eggs, not eyes, mostly from Shark...)-

I even have had numerous categories. it fairly is no longer something i might consume except i replaced into at a social gathering or giving one. this is as a rule kinda high priced and if I had a option to consume something else that I enjoyed extra effective i might. i do no longer prefer to waste my calorie and salt intake on caviar on a time-honored foundation.

Yes, when I was a kid. I remember it was really nasty and had a funny texture. I don't even like fish, so I don't know why thought I might like fish eggs.

Yes. It tasted very salty, too much for my own liking. It was exspensive 200$ and I ended up having to eat all of it, because i paid for it, very unpleasent. A lot of people hype Caviar to be a rare treat, but to be truthful i dont think its good, def not worth its cost. If your thinking about trying caviar i wouldnt reccomned it because i didnt like it, but maybe you will?

Yes, and I don't know what all the hype is all about. It's salty and I'd prefer a bunch of BBQ chips over fish eggs any day. Good luck w/ that.

Yes, both red and black. The black seems a bit tastier, both a little salty like a snack cracker. Pricey but tasty-a small tin is about $10, but worth it for those special moments.

Yes. It's way too salty. I like cod and shad roe. Any kind of small roe is very good. But caviar is really too salty.
