Well, first of all, that is THE lamest excuse I have ever heard for cheating.
Be a big boy: own up to what you did, apologize, abject yourself to her angry, fury and tears, and figure out a way to make it up to her. Or if you can't be faithful, then let her go.

"My husband caught me cheating with the milk man, how to get out of it?" This is literally what you are asking. Would you forgive your wife if she told you this?
P.S. I doubt being half french will have her buy it. If anything, tell her that you heard on the radio that young couples have evolved to have the man take care of one female with a child and then move on in a few years go get another pregnant, take care of the child, and move on again. This is a theory especially considering the divorce rates in couples between the ages of 20-25.

Well you should have thought of the consquences before you did it. I think at this point your offically screwed! What your thinking of telling her is lame and NO she wouldn't buy it. Since you like the maid enough to choose her over your Wife that you promised to stick by in sickness and in health then you should just give your wife the house and move in with the maid.

first reason why you are a fool: you are incapable of asking a question. your wife caught YOU...the way you worded the question implied you caught her...second being french has nothing to do with sleeping with a maid.
just tell her you were really dirty and needed a deep clean...

she wasnt born yesterday.
she has feelings u know
and she loves u!!
so that means u have to tell her the truth and never lie to her.
and u got to ask ur self do u still love ur wife? and do u still want her in ur life? and remember why u wanted to marry her and why u said yes to her.
and now yes she will be really angry with u but if u sit down an talk to her and suprise her with flowers chocolate, and a romanic dinner by the fire place. she will probably not for give u for a while but u cant give up hope and u have to keep suprising her with lots of flowers.
