Do you physically have a DVD Burner installed on your laptop? If not, you need to purchase one before you can burn a DVD. A DVD drive will not burn. It has to be a DVD Burner. As for software, try NERO

Windows has a built in program that will burn things to DVD or CD, and cyberlink power 2 go, but you need the hardware to make the soft ware work.

you need to buy a dvd drive first (double layer) burner would suite you Then download burn on cd/dvd, a linux cd dvd software package for windows make sure you download the one for windows,

assuming u have a physical dvd burner i would just get a demo of nero and then i would get dvd shrink (just look it up on google) then that should work (assuming all these thing arent right protected)
