Where were her parents? Too busy exploiting their daughters, and living in the fame to be parents, show them love, and teach them how to be responsible?
Jamie Lynn Spears will miss her High School prom and hanging out with her friends. Her prospects of going to college are greatly diminished and her future earnings will definitely decline by at least $10,000 per week and over $100,000 annually from product endorsements. That is over $2 million dollars more than any teenager in high school will earn before they graduate. She is also less likely to have a successful marriage. Not only is her image of a young, innocent beauty forever changed to a girl that is really to have sex with pretty much any guy as long as he is nice to here. In addition, Jamie Lynne should have been educated about contraception by her parents and had access to health care and doctors of every kind. She also has an outstanding example of what pregnancy, children, and an ill thought out marriage did to her sister's successful entertainment career.
What a tragedy for Jamie Lynne and what a failure Her mother, Lynne, is as a parent.

Yes it is true. Not only was it confirmed by TMZ, a real factual celebrity gossip site, Nickeloden, as well as Jamie Lynn Spears. She will be on OK! magazine later this week talking all about it.
Isn't she supposed to be a role model for kids with her show Zoey 101? I say less than two weeks until that show is cancelled. But she's getting knocked up at 16? Her parents must be proud that they created two trainwrecks.

I'm personally sick of hearing about teens becomming pregnant and having sex so early in age. i'm 23 and have had two miscarriages. i started at 19 and i married the man whom was my first. i'm stable and happy and would love to start a family now. hearing about teens having babies and i can't, kind of disturbs me. but on a lighter side, Jamie Lynn has money clearly. she doesn't have the best influences but she could afford say a nanny to help her with guidence. i think it's good that she's taking responsibility to have this child and make sure she puts him or her first. i just hope she doesn't follow her sister's foot steps. no child is should be put through a terrible childhood because their parents are to self involved!

wow, I know it is surely surprising!
I was really hoping she would not end up like her big sister, but it might just happen. I hope Jamie knows what she is doing, if she is keeping the baby, I don't want her life to be over by teenage pregnancy and if she gives it up, I hope it is adoption, not abortion!

I don't really care.
All I can hope for is that she doesn't turn into a freak of a nutcase like her older sister. I hope the baby will grow up fine, but who knows with that family? Oh well, not my problem. I don't really care about them. I just feel sorry for the kids.
