Don't forget it was Drudge who broke the Monica Lewinsky story. I don't think he'd be wasting his time on something like this if there wasn't some truth to it

To answer your question;

No, we are talking about the democrat party, affairs and love children are hallmarks of their leaders. Edwards probably leaked the story himself it will probably make him more popular with the Bill Clinton supporters.

Hopefully, this bit of tripe won't, as it shouldn't ,be added to the already mudraked garbage the' sheeple' is introduced to.. Isn't it time to analyze the civil merits of ALL the candidates, without besmurging the personal lives of the candidates.. When are WE THE PEOPLE going to insist that the only pertinent information that should be introduced in a campaign is the candidates platform and positions on the important issues effecting our beloved America!! This is a perfect example of opponents shallow gestures to obiterate the real differences between all the candidates.. Whoever is responsible for this trash has no respect for the country and is our troubled times.. And even if it were true,(and I couldnt care less if ALL the candidates had "love children ).HOW would it be impotant to the election and the issues??? If you investigate all the ELECTED POLITICAINS, I guarantee you would find illegitiment children, mistresses, divorcees, petifiles, homosexuals,lesbians, and who knows what else.I know right now we have a convicted senator of bathroom trolling for homosexual sex!! So what the point here.. And as far as you comment BRECK GIRL, I should think you would confine your comments to a man who has been a Senator in our government,to a respectful nature.. But then, its obvious where your loyalty lies.. I suggest you continue to get you little "names" from right wing talk radio!! Those are REAL pillars of our communities, with non-blemished VALUES!!!

I'd give it a greater than 50% chance of being true. Yes, the National Enquirer has a lot of junk, but they've also broken some major stories in the past like Jesse Jackson's love child. Edwards is extremely vain and egotistical, and his wife has been sick off and on for quite a while. It might just be true.

And it will probably destroy his campaign if true since he's not as slick as people like Bill Clinton. His wife might even have the 'balls' to divorce him.

Matt Drudge is an Internet gossip who has been wrong more times than right. I wouldn't get too excited about this until it comes from a more credible source. One Lewinsky story does not an intrepid honest "journalist" make.

Quoting Drudge Report is as credible as Rush Limbaugh.

Maybe if you are willing to believe this from the National Enquirer, I guess you also believe that Laura Bush is looking to divorce George!

If you look at the rest of that National Inquirer, I assure you it will have an article about alien abductions on the cover too.
You need a better news source.
