so what do you all think about ms. jamie lynn and her pregnancy? I thought she would have been the good spears sister but i think she has almost got one up on her older sister. Its obvious that her mom doesn't keep that close an eye on her if she is 16 and pregers.... do you think that nick will drop her show...since it is a teen based show... i don't know many parents that would like their kids to be watching a teen mom...

jamie lynn seemed like she was a smart kid and i bet her 19 year old bf will still around just so he doesn't look like an as*h*l* in the public eye. she shouldn't have put herself in that situation considering that young girls watch her show. I myself am disgusted with her choice and those that her sister has made. if anything she should have learned from her big sis... that having children when you aren't mature/ready is a mistake. but i guess she can watch britney and her kid at the same time... what is this world coming to?

It's just pure sad that a kid is having a kid. Jamie Lynn is just my age and I cannot imagine putting the rest of my life on halt and raising a kid myself. I'm not sure if I sympathize with her or anything, but we've heard so much stories of young moms not being able to attend prom, quit varsity or join their friends for college. I just feel sad about kids having kids. It's robbing them of their childhood and forcing them to grow up. >Sigh<

Here's my rant on this:

So little miss sweet-tart is preggo.

16-year old Jamie Lynn Spears (younger sister of Britney) stars in Nickelodeons’ “Zoey 101”.

According to Louisiana "Age of Consent Laws" (see link, below), this falls under the category of "Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile"..i.e, rape.

She met her sperm donor at church (nice!).
Anyone wanna bet that 19-year old Casey Aldridge won't stick around to play the role of pappa?

What kind of message does this send to America's youth?

I suppose Jamie was jealous of all the well-deserved criticism her no-talent older sister was getting for being a drunk, drugged-out, no-talent mom-from-hell redneck wreck.

Nickelodeon should drop Jamie like a hot potato if not on moral grounds then for legal reasons.

What’s your view on this – is it okay for little girls to get knocked up?
Or, should we just coddle the little darlin’ and say “tisk-tisk, what will be will be”?

I about choked when I read this on the news:
“Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — "so it can have a normal family life."

“Normal”?
There is nothing normal about a minor having a baby.

She should on be on Zoey 101 anymore. Sends kids and teenagers the wrong message. I cannot believe it!!!!!!!!!! I thought she was not gonna end up like Britney.

What do I think? I don't care. I'm too busy with my own life and kids to bother with the careers, morals, decisions, family, etc. of celebrities.
