Let x equal cost of orange juice
Let y equal cost of pancake speacials
3x + 5y = 7.60
Rearrange:
x = (7.60 - 5y) / 3
5x + 4y = 7.90
Sub the first equation into this one:
5((7.60 - 5y) / 3) + 4y = 7.90
((38 - 25y) / 3) + 4y = 7.90
Multiply each term by 3:
38 - 25y + 12y = 23.70
-13y = -14.30
y = $1.10
Sub back into the first equation:
x = (7.60 - 5(1.10)) / 3
x = $0.70
Therefore the price of orange juice is $0.70 and the price of the pancake special is $1.10

Let J= cost of juice and P = cost of Pancakes (Var declaration is very important!)
1) 3J+5P=$7.60 Here is the model
2) 5J+4P=$7.90 Now lets solve by elimination
3) 12J+20P = $30.40 multiply eq 1 by 4
4) 25J +20P = $39.50 multiply eq 2 by 5
5) 13J=$ 9.10 sub eq 3 from eq 4
6) J=$.70 devide eq 5 by 13
7) 3(.70)+5P= 7.6 sub J back into eq 1
8) 2.10 + 5P =7.6
9) 5P =5.5 subtract 2.1 from both sides
10) P=1.1 devide by 5
3(.7)+5(1.1)=$7.60 check eq 1
5(.7)+4(1.1)=$7.90 check eq 2 very important
The Juce cost $.70 and the the Pancake Special cost $1.1

3o + 5p = 760
5o + 4p = 790
so lets isolate from the second one
5o + 4p = 790
5o = 790 - 4p
o = 158 - 4/5p
substitute
3o + 5p = 760
3(158 - 4/5p) +5p = 760
474 - 2 2/5 p + 5p = 760
474 + 2 3/5 p = 760
2.6 p = 286
p = 110 ($1.10 for pancakes)
5o + 4p = 790
5o + 4(110) = 790
5o + 440 = 790
5o = 350
o = 70
70 + 110 = $1.80
tada !!!!!!

i be attentive to this question is previous as heck, yet for different people who see this, i prefer to advise right here: Destrage Dance Gavin Dance Revocation (uncertain if math-middle yet nonetheless good) Fall of Troy The Human precis between The Buried and Me Polyphia Blotted technology i'm a super PTH fan myself yet i does not say that each and every physique PTH followers will without delay like those bands. Protest the Hero is notably unique so this is confusing to locate bands that have the two the comparable point of ability and the comparable musical form.

This is algebra.
X = Price of orange juice
Y = Price of pancakes
So, you have 2 equations:
7,60 = 3X + 5Y
7,90 = 5X + 4Y
2 equations, 2 unknown quantities. You isolate X and find its value, which is 0,70$.

one juice costs .70 and one pancake special costs 1.10.
This is not math so much as it is algebra.

3O + 5P = 7.6 (a)
5O + 4P = 7.9 (b)
5a - 3b
25P-12P = 38 - 23.7
13P = 14.3
P = $1.10
thus O = $ 0.70
