Don't listen to what people tell you. They just make you worry. I've been thru this with my son. Unless he has a problem with disposable diapers, I'd keep them. The cloth ones can be such a pain and add to the work you already do. Do what you feel is best. Your motherly intuition is best. No matter what people say. You are the one experiencing things and that is when I learned the most about being a mother. Time is important, especially when you have a ton of laundry already! Congrats on your lil man! They get big quick!

Hmm, well, if you are buying newborn size, they come in packs of 120 versus - say size 3, which come in packs of 30 but still cost the same. So... going with the cheapest brand at 10 bucks, your looking at A LOT.
2,000 divided by 120... you need about 17 packs.

Based on Huggies size 1-2 bought from amazon.com it would be $340.52. But diapering an actual baby that would grow into larger sizes would actually cost more because they cost more per diaper the larger the size.

A huge mountain of petrochemical/human waste garbage.
With cloth, you need maybe 50 total.
