I don't know why but I've never liked the way I looked. I've been offered things like modeling jobs and everyone says that I'm beauitful, but I don't really feel that way. And ever since I was little I've wanted blond hair and blue eyes... Is there any way to make myself feel better? I think all my problems started when I was little and my grandma tried to give me a doll with black hair and brown eyes and I told her I wanted a blond barbie doll because it was prettier... Thoughts? I have brown hair, brown eyes, and bronze skin.

Plus I have a curvy body, not like fat (gross) but like Beyonce or Jennifer Love Hewitt... And I always wanted to be thin. Is it just me? Do I have a problem? Because other people think I'm beautiful, but I've never felt that way.

Girl, all I can say is Rock that Body! I have the same everything... brunette with bronze skin. No blond hair and blue eyes is not prettier at all! That is what the media/ magazines is throwing out right now, skinny anorexic girls with bleach fake blond hair! Ew no! Look at Jessica Alba, Beyonce (like you said),... I could go on there is soo many! LOVE YOURSELF FOR WHO YOU ARE! Curves are way more sexy then a guy shape! A lot of young girls have confidence issues, and it's okay. I still have issues and I'm 20. It comes and goes, but just always love yourself. You could always test out what it's like to have blonde hair. I've done this, and then just always go back natural because it looks better with my bronze skin. You can't really "make" yourself feel better, you just have to grow and learn from yourself. i have blond hair and blue eyes, i think im okay. but it doesnt matter what color skin, eyes, or hair you have. its from the inside and how your whole complexction matches up with all your features. Trust me ive seen some ugly blondes, but everyone is their own person. And yea i get called barbie a lot, trust me, it was flattering at first but now i feel plastic. Even though im very natural. If your offered modeling, take it! But if you really want blond hair and blue eyes, get colored contacts and dye your hair. And your sooo lucky you have bronze skin! And for the girl who says you have insecurity issues, shes a biotch and a hypocrit. Every girl has felt that way about herself, your not alone. You should stay how you are, people will love you no matter what. =)

To be honest, i've always thought that blonde hair/blue eyes were the prettiest...just look at barbie! But now that i'm older, brunettes totally rock! Don't be upset, i have brown hair and eyes too - and i've gotten a million compliments!
I think brown hair and eyes are gorgeous! And bronze/tanned skin is the new "in".
Most blondes have unflattering "dirty blonde" hair or they're just fakes. Blues eyes get intimidating if you stare at them too long. Brown hair is more chocolatey-sweet. And brown eyes are like cute puppy eyes. Be proud of what you have because i sure am!!

Miley Cyrus doesn't make blond hair look nice at all . XD But anyway I think some people look pretty with blond hair and blue eyes, others don't. Blonds and Blues are pretty common though. Its getting to the point its almost the only thing you see. (at least where I live)

Don't try to be something you are not. Learn how to be happy with yourself. I used to be sort of insecure about my look, but I have grown to appreciate it. You should value yourself more. Some people wish they could at least be pretty. I used to be a little insecure about my looks but then, I noticed that some people wish they were in my situation. Everyone is pretty in their own way. Just because a person has blond hair and blue eyes doesn't make that person pretty

I've seen plenty of unattractive blue eyed blondes. Besides I find that when someone alters their appearance strictly because they don't like their own looks, it never looks right because they always go to the extreme.
You look the way you do because the genetics of generations of your family members combined to make you look the way you do...you may have your great grandfather's eyes, your great great grandmother's hair....each of us is a walking testament to our own family history...I think that's something to be pretty proud of.
As far as the Barbie Doll...I think most girls like that ideal because the people who make Barbie Dolls drummed it into their heads that that was what they're supposed to want to look like through marketing.
I've seen cases with African American kids who didn't want black dolls when they finally came out with them because marketing told them that the caucasian blue eyed blonde doll was what they should want. My own nieces were victim to that marketing when they were little.

You clearly have some insecurity issues. I'm sorry you don't love yourself for who you are, but if you really want to be white, blond hair and blue eyes, then dye your hair, get colored contacts and bleach your skin like Michael Jackson. I wish you the best of luck. If you want to accept yourself for who you are, then you would have to go to conuseling. There is this notion that blond hair, blue eyes are beautiful above the rest. It is all from the media. Also, the KKK often signified that as beautiful (Hitler pushed for that image). Bunch of subliminal messages have entered your head about this kind of beauty. Only a psychologist will be able to help you to accept who you are and explain to why you feel this way.

You sound much, much prettier than a blond, with pale skin and blue eyes!!! You could put some highlights in your hair, but if it is shiny and healthy, it is already beautiful. And look how much is spent by the pale-faces to look tan.

NO I think blonde hair and blue eyes is the most stupid..unless the girl is obviously stunningly beautiful and happens to be a blonde with blue eyes then i wont take credit away...haha...but i like dark hair with blue eyes or dark hair with dark eyes...
