So here is the thing. My GF and I of 9 years have seen a decline in our relationship over the past three or more years. But we have stuck it through regardless. This past year though I have been cheating with another girl, I feel guilt for this, I would feel far better if I had broken off things with my GF first, but you know how it goes. So now in essence I am going to move out in the new year , I don't want to break things up before Christmas. My only thing is that I want my GF to be happy; safe and taken care of; that somehow we can remain friends. When she showered this past month or so I would sneak and read her text messages, and clearly she has also been seen some guy , to a certain degree. And also some days she showed up late 3 or 4 in the morning , claiming that she was visiting some female friend from work. I would not really care because I reckoned if she were cheating then all is well.Today I saw her cell phone for the first time in a while, and it seems as if the guy ..

Nine years is a long time. It is a sensitive situation for two reasons. If you seem not to care about her cheating, it can imply that, the first reason is because you too have done it, or the second reason; that you do not love her anymore.
The question to ask yourself is if you want this relationship in the first place.
I personally do not think you should be wasting your time and hers, instead let her go so that you both may find your own way and your better half, hopefully one that you both are happy and respect enough not to hurt.
Good Luck & God Bless

You need to be honest with her...thats the only thing that will help. Tell her that these past few years u have not been happy, and the past few years i know u have not been happy...I have been seein this girl on the side while still dating u, and I know u have been doing the same thing to me...so there should be no more trying to hide htings and no more trying to keep things a secret, i know its the holiday, but it makes no sense in dragging the realtionship on and on, if we are not in a happy state of our relationship...

You have no right to worry about her. Your true concern for her left the day you started messing around with someone else. You both know you shouldn't be together, and the longer you drag this out, the worse it will be. I realize you feel guilt now, about your decision to cheat, but how dare you? You are concerned out of guilt and it is only for you to feel better about yourself. Let her move on.

You have been totally disrespecting her anyway, by living with her when you are not committed to her in marriage. You should move out.
