I would not recommend it. There are viruses that attack windows and can get through fire walls and that the Vista Security can not detect. Norton should get the viruses at that time.
To have two protection programs for your computer is better.
Also, depending on the Norton package, Norton also has some programs that help your computer, such as a registry check.

Both are junk. No, you can not count on Windows Vista. And for sure Nortons, as it is the very worse junk in the world.

I wouldn't count on either totally but you definitely want to run a antivirus software of some kind--I would try microtrend very cheap about $30 US and pretty good software. You can get a virus on your computer within 10 seconds without antivirus software

You can't count on either...lol...
(just for a side note, I opened up my brand new HP desktop and it ALREADY had a virus on it!...that's really scary...and that's why I'm slowly switching to Mac)
