For example, how can people be surprised when there are murders, drug usage, cheating, violence, shadiness and all sorts of atrocities in society, when society brings it on itself? We're uber-materialistic, we all live in our own dream-dealistic-worlds, devoid and ignoring of all reality, not ONE of us really cares about the next guy or people who have it bad, or contributes to ANYTHING good out there, and yet we expect society to magically be this great and pretty place, and we then b(tch when things don't go our way.

Things are going to spiral downward until people start shooting each other on the highways, and start fighthing and it all turns to ****.

WAIT, they already do, it's called L.A.

People and society especially in America, is evil. That's right. Evil. It's ALL about profit, money, status.

The rich and powerful are pretty much evil, and judge others and what not. The poor pretend and connive, or just get frustrated and angry.

it's all bs, so why the surprise?

I mean exactly how wonderful do you think a society of shopaholic, money-grubbing, fake, nasty, shallow, social-climbing,pretending, narcissistic, and pretty much vile people will be?

You really think this world is going in a good direction?

Please. People see evil, and in turn ,they get affected and stop caring. Until it dominos downward, and all hell breaks loose.

That's whats going on.

Since each and every one of us, I mean yeah there are good people out there, but we only have ourselves to blame

So why all the shock?

It's only going to get worse.

ANd it should because it's cause and effect. It's just common sense.

You can't expect the effect to be great when the cause sucks.

I have to agree with you. Americans drive around sporting their "united we stand" magnets on their cars, and then flip you off when you try to get into their lane to avoid being struck by a bus. The US is full of people who pretend that they care! Its all about image. If there's no money in your pockets, your shi*. You either have it or you don't, theres no in-between anymore. Middle class is non-existent.

Society Sucks

I see your point and I agree completly. People need to start opening their eyes and look around. They need to look at what they are doing and how many people they could actually be hurting with what they do. The rich don't care about the poor, they may say they do but they really don't. If they did, they would give as much as they could to help. I do belieave that some are good, and do help as much as possible, but I think thats very few people in the world.
The poor also needs to open their eyes. I mean if you are living on the streets don't waist the money you get for cigs and etc. They could be doing something about it, but they don't. The outcome is mainly there fault.
This society does not shock me at all. The people that kill, try killing, abuse, or just do anything that can contribute in a bad way, they all just need to open their eyes. They need to see that what they are doing, is the major cause of what the world is turning into. I don't understand why people are surprised..id really love to know the answer to this question also.

WE the minority agree on your observation the other MAJORITY dont realize they are just tools for the Zio-Jews and uber wealthy that pull the financial strings. Hollywood, the government, diamond brokers in NYC etc all Jews who have no loyalty or moral compass except to.......money and power. You speak the truth your labeled a racist or extremist because everyone doesnt have the moral fiber to tell it like it is and it IS what it is. I can understand why some of us pull back from society as we have allowed ourselves to be as toxic ambassadors for the puppet masters. Until theres a revolution nothing will change the pillars of the empire are crumbling!

I know this is 6 years old, but Jenn and Luke you guys are like my favorite people. Even 6 years later you're still correct, Americans want everything their way and don't care about anyone else. They don't care about the strain on other people, and they are blind to real suffering. hence First World Problems. They take so much pride on themselves but when you find out how people really are, it's a little sickening. I'm American and I'm not exactly proud to be. No one trusts each other, everyone's all into conspiracy, and in the many cities and states I've lived in, you have to fit in a certain category in order to not be mobbed by hate.

This is partially true.
I care what others go through,
yet being a pushover or a doormat is not what I am.
L.A. is not that bad.
There is bad people everywhere.
Not all people are evil, yet the media does not help to cease it.
Hollywood promotes a lot of bad films.
Hollywood screenwriters are why some films are bad.
Society is not all bad,yet it is not great either.
Society is just a fellowship thing.

Actuall alot of it or most of it is caused by the government and their inability to gain the public trust and uphold the meaning of the constitution, not the wording of it the meaning there is a difference. The reason the rich are percieved as evil because the rich only worry about making the rich richer and the poor poorer. With our government right now if you are rich enough they will protect every dollar you make and every sh/it you take, if you are poor the leave you with nothing and still want more.. It matters not how or who we vote for anymore the government does what it wants and when it wants in the interest of them and the wealthy not just the publice america of the whole..

I'm exactly with you. People nowadays are stupid, fat, and selfish materialistic blobs of meat. Compared to the other side of the world people are actually more grateful than these disgusting greedy dogs and pigs.

I only support the system because I have to to survive. However I limit it as much as possible. I also do not stand out in front of the White House ranting and shouting about governmental corruption for example because no one takes that seriously.

Why am I surprised that there is so much corruption? Because I used to believe that human beings would care more about communal success than individual success and still can't understand why anyone believes that exploitation is a practical solution for long term sustainability.
