At a basketball camp i won 3 individual awards, 1 on 1, speed shooting and Free throws, and i was very happy to have won but then the camp instructor said i could only claim 1 award, the second 2 awards would go to the 2nd place finishers. I earned the awards what do you think about awarding the second best. Also in schools they are always trying to push the team concept on you, my stance is forget the team your one man and those people dont care if u have a job or not, your born alone not with a team. What do u think about the team metality, and about awarding a second place finisher over the winner without even recognizing the origanal winner at the awards ceromony, its like claiming a product without a copyright

Individuals who perform well must be given the credit when due. On the other hand, teamwork is only applicable in some sports that needs it and a group that performs well must be rewarded as a team. In other words, there must be rewards for both individual and team efforts.

Team afford.

Who pass the ball to you? Can you bring the ball from the bottom line of your fileld to the opposite field and then shoot. All by youself?

No way.

You need other to support your action

In fact, whatsoever awards, they are awarding to the whole team.

Try to be mutual. Your coach just want you to think about the whole team. Yes, you got the shoot but it was the team afford to achieve it. You should learn to honor the whole team plus the coach.
