There is no possible way to estimate the value of your rings from photographs. You will have to take them to an expert and have a proper valuation done - it will cost you a few dollars but it is worth the effort. The valuation of alexandrite is not easy as the degree and quality of the colour change has to be taken into account as well as the usual criteria used in gem valuation. Also there are a huge number of simulants and synthetics out there to be wary of (and to be honest with you I am a little suspicious of the colour of the stones in the photographs). Sites that say they give the value of stones are hardly worth bothering about without you having the experience to assess the many features used in valuation.
Hope this helps a little.

Well it all depends on the size and whether or not they are lab created. The rings look to have at least 18 ct gold and the alexandrite seems to be a good price, It is really hard to tell as to how much the rings are worth just by a pictures but I will give you a website that tells you what gems are worth. http://www.jewelrytelevision.com/index.aspx?tid=7362&N=50+274&cm_sp=ISP0360003&cm_re=IRE0360003&up=UP0360003 It all depends on the size, qualaty, ring metal and also age.

I hope that you do not plan on selling those, they are beautiful rings and should stay in your family.

I was just looking at an alexandrite ring for my grandgal for xmas and I was told by the jeweler that the price for it right now is very high and that the old stones are getting rare... I suggest you hang on to those beauties until you have a good gemologist that you TRUST to take a look at them....... in your presence!!!!.... do NOT allow someone to hold these overnight, ever......................
