when you didn't have to worry about anything and everything was all fun and games and we still didn't know how messed up this world is?

I miss those times

Yes, definately. I would do anything to go back. All I wanted when I was a kid was to be grown up, and now all I want is to be a kid again. No more bills, no more stress. Those were the good ole days. I should have listened to my parents when they said not to wish I was older.

What was I thinking?

Yes i do. Every moment of every day! It's hard being a freshman in high school where people become backstabbers and the people you thought where you're friends talk to you one day then don't the next. Childhood life wasn't stressful at all. You could do no wrong, most of the time. It was a time where you were basically waited on hand and foot! That's why i miss it so much...mostly because of that and because the friends I made just wanted to have fun and play all day and you didn't have to worry about one friend hating the other(well, not all the time).

No, unfortunately I don't miss it. I had an abusive childhood, so I had quite a lot to worry about, and I knew all too well how messed the world really was.

Very much! I especially miss it at Christmas when Santa was a real entity to me. I am an old man, probably in my second childhood, and I believe to try and put oneself into the state of mind one was in as a child at Christmas, is to be truly religious and happy. Christ said that the Kingdom of God was such as little children were (Matthew 19:14, Matthew 11:25, Matthew 18: 1-6 etc.) It may be hard to remember and become again as a little child but to do so is very rewarding.

Santa is the personification of a Saint who had a special regard for children. Santa is probably more real to a child than Christ was. He is not a detractor from the true meaning of Christmas because Christmas is a time when we pay special attention to the giving of ourselves (as Santa does) and to the importance of being good to please Him.

The wonder that a child felt waiting for Christmas morn I think is the same wonder one should feel at waiting for the promises of his/her faith. It is worthwhile working to achieve this wonder and Joy again. May it persist throughout your year.

Marry Christmas, peace and Love!

I think this is part of growing up.Without this some of usmight be childish."sigh."

I miss it so much, I was not to much in a hurry to grow up. :9 When I was more littler, everything seemed innocent, or more perfect than now. Now I'm feeling depressed thinking about it....

Sometimes the memories of our youth is more delightful than our years as adults. Life is forever evolving, and nothing can stop it. We live in an imperfect world of imperfections.
