As of now, perhaps. However, the next good thing for him to do is to finallly leave office.

Some issues he has done:
President Bush has done another wonderful thing for this country (in my opinion) He has ban protests at Military funerals. I think this will be good for the country. President Bush, marking Memorial Day with a speech paying tribute to fighting men and women lost in war, signed into law Monday a bill that keeps demonstrators from disrupting military funerals. In advance of his speech and a wreath-laying at America's most hallowed burial ground for military heroes, Bush signed the "Respect for America's Fallen Heroes Act." This was largely in response to the activities of a Kansas church group that has staged protests at military funerals around the country, claiming the deaths symbolized God's anger at U.S. tolerance of homosexuals.
He has made many americans wake up and realize our political system needs a major overhaul because it is corrupt through and through.
Bush has been making satirists WORK these last eight years, because every month is more ridiculous and absurd than the last. The Onion becomes reality.
He has pretty much united much of the rest of the world in a shared disgust at his policies.
He made me interested in politics. I was never personally impacted until he became president. I lost a job, had my tuition go through the roof, and couldn't find a new job after graduation. All of this was shortly before and right after 9/11.
I know it isn't all his fault but for some reason his condescending treatment of this country and ***-wiping with the constitution pissed me off to the point where I had to try to get involved.

Thanks for the article. Sorry but I have my doubts. He may be having some of these nukes dismantled and is telling the press about it but it makes me wonder what he's NOT telling the press about it. I mean, what are they going to do with the materials from those dismantled nukes. I hear the military is developing more low level nuclear weapons that aren't as explosive or that don't spread out over such a huge range like these huge megaton nuclear warheads do. Is that material being dismanteled going toward those new weapons? Sorry, I've been around far to long and seen alot of lies from the white house, pentagon and both houses of gov't to know that they don't do things out of the goodness of their hearts or out of the benefit to the people.

He must do a few good thing before leaving office or go down in History as a Scum President....
I didn't check your link yet...but did his PR team organize this..?
I'll take a look Thanks
I see....No it's not good..He is just getting rid of Old, Obsolete Misslies to make way for a more deadly New Generation..Which you need far less of as they are deployed in Space for Example..
Don't be fooled....America will only increase it's Power Base NOT decrease.
He used this as a PR Stunt and fooled many of your Answerers even..
Good Q tho...Can I recycle it?

Bush has done a lot of good things in the past 8years. I would be willing to say far more than Clinton. I think people are so polarized by the war that they cannot see the truth if it was right in front of them. You may not agree with this war, but I also wonder if those same people believe in war at all. History, will likely see this middle east conflict as a positive one. I just find many people intellectually dishonest. They would not give anyone the satisfaction of admitting Bush has done many good things let alone one. And those people you just can't talk with. They are too emotional.

No, he's actually trying a little bit now - it's the old "end of the second term and my record needs improvement for the sake of history" move.

Okay, it's obviously a stretch for him, but it's something.

Sounds like none of these weapons were actually active, so he gets little credit from me. I find it hard to believe we couldn't negotiate levels below 1000 warheads by now w/o compromising security.

He has agreed to sell them to Iran if they will sit down at the table and talk. Funny thing is Iran still wants to make power.

I just noticed that, too... Let's home it's truly good and not just another nefarious scheme in disguise... Unfortunately, it seems like everything is a nefarious scheme in disguise with these NWO types...

That's because Bushco is now trying to push MISSILE defense, that in itself is a better act of aggression than stockpiles of nuclear matter. F.P
