1. Since he began with purebred plants, he knew that the parents were homozygous.

3. Dominant alleles are expressed fully, they show up, whenever they are present, no matter what the other allele says. Recessive alleles are hidden in heterozygous individuals. They only show up when they are the only alleles present.
