Well, as long as it could be my all time favorite baseball player (George Brett - he still works for the Royals), I'd take option #1.

But I'd much rather have a .500 season, or at least a season where the Royals weren't 20+ games out of 1st place by the end of May.

As much as I would love the tickets, I wouldn't be able to use them since I live in Upstate NY, not near the Bronx, so if I had my current favorite player visit me, I could get him to autograph stuff that would be worth over 1000 once he, Derek Jeter, was done.
