I think Nevaeh is pretty. A friend of mine used it and I thought it was totally original - I had no idea it was so popular, or that it had been used at all! -- does it come from somewhere - a movie or a book or something? - anyways... my least favorite girl names are Kira, Patricia, and Jan -- my least favorite boy names are Josh, Rick, and Roger

I'm certain Nevaeh's already been beaten to death, so rather than go there I'll say ...

Lacy - like sexy ladies' panties? LOL

and

Talon - the claw a bird of prey uses to clutch and kill its dinner is hardly an attractive naming option, to be frank.

In other words, trendy for the sake of trendy choices. The term "lacy" because people think it "pretty," feminine and, all-too-often, "sexy" (great criteria for naming an exotic dancer, but perhaps not your actual child LOL). And the literal word "talon" either as one of those uber-masculine attempts -- a la Blade, Lazer, Gunner (NOT traditional Gunnar, mind you) and Stiletto LOL -- or simply because the parents really are that ignorant, and just assumed it a "cool" new trendy -lon name (thanks to Braelon, Jaylon and other such recent creations/misspellings).

If it sounds like a word, at least look it up to see if it's a particularly positive one! That's all I'm saying. ;)

For a boy, Kevin (name is nice, I just have bad associations) and Paul

For a girl, Tiffany (again, bad associations) and Tabitha...ooh, and Amber too

I also dislike extremely unusual spellings, just because it can cause so many headaches in a person's life if people can't spell or pronounce his or her name.

I completely agree that Nevaeh for a girl is a horrible, ridiculous name. I also don't care for Misty.

Worst boy name? Boris or Kevin or Gareth
