i just got a pair of sword tail wich one is female and male i want to know all about breeding them and does the female have a gravid spot like the guppies i want to breed them plz help me

If your male is mature enough you should see a sword looking fin coming from the bottom portion of his tail fin. As far as the gravid spot that would depend on the coloration of the swordtail variety you have. If their colors are light enough you may see some darkening when the mama is hold fry.

Figure out which one is the female. Hint: females don't have swords. Next buy about three more females. If you have a male he will aggravate a single female to near death,or maybe all the way.

This is a super source of information and live stock, and a really fun bunch of people.
