The only thing i can think of is a great gift certificate so that they can get what they want. Some times it hard to shop for people so what i normally due is get that certificate so they won't be disappointed.

okay this is what i did for my dad.
get a photo from their childhood, or just of them standing preferably.
make it so it'll fit in a frame, but cut it our round the edges.
get some wings, just print them off or something, and stick them to the back of the picture.
then just put a background of their hobby or something. like music notes if they like music ect ect.
you could also use music notes for the wings too. just print off and cut to shape.
then out it in a frame.. and voila! a personal home made gift for chrissie which they'll love.
