Yes, on lower heat for a short time. Best to line dry, then tumble dry for the last few minutes of damp, to knock the wrinkles out.

After the first few times you wash something, it shrinks as much as it ever will, unless you blast it with extremely high heat (including hot water washing) later. For this reason, it may be worth some research to see if the cotton garments in question are preshrunk. Many jeans, for example, ae preshrunk. This means they wash and shrink the fabric before cutting and sewing the garment. Then laundering doesn't affect the size of the garment.

Some times using a vary low temp setting can still shrink something.I would try the wrinkle guard setting because the heat temperture is not constant as much as permint press or normal time dry cycle.

Dont put anything you value in the tumble dryer it will invariably shrink it immediately or over time.

I Iron mine as dry as I can then I hang them in the bathroom over the heater or on a chair by the fireplace !
