if so, I am going to turn myself in.

why?

because you will live your life without paying bills and without working.
Maybe you can sleep as much as you want..
Isn't it great?

What do you think?

It probably depends on the institution and if it is a "minimum" or "maximum" security prison. Now do you want to hear something really scary...? Did you know that when you place an order over the telephone for something in a mail order catalog, chances are VERY good that a prisoner is taking down your information! Credit card info, your address, your 'phone number... Some prisons (in the US) have contracts with some of the larger mail order houses to use prison labor as "customer service reps". Now doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy...and SECURE??!! Keep THAT in mind as you do your Christmas shopping via catalog this year. HO, HO, HO.

I know some one in jail right now.... non violent
no Internet
TV yes - but no cable
yes you can buy stuff but very pricey
cost to be in jail is 35.00 per day you have to pay that...
medical costs are yours ....the price to get 2 teeth removed was 800.00
so its not free....
these costs must be repaid if you get out...
if your there for life its free...

They have way too many freedoms while incarcerated. It's shameful. I think we should re institute the chain gang and corporal punishment. How else will bad people learn, by working out, three meals a day, television with cable and Internet access. I think not.

Yes,
My cousin is in jail and when he goes to class for his GED he sends a email.

and they have TV,a little store where they can buy stuff and send mail too.

depending if they are high risk than NO.if they are under normal prison with no harm to others than yes.

No, at least not here they don't have internet.

I know when my mom--yes my mom was in jail, she didn't have acess to the internet--I think they did have computers in her GED class but it was restricted and they could not do email, ect.
