I'll take any of his songs any day of the week. My favorites are his old ones and not any one in paritcular. He's one of the best, not one of the oldest but certainly one of the best.

How 'Bout Them Cowgirls I totally love it!â¥
I am not a big George Strait fan but when he performed this at the CMA's I just fell in love with it. The minuet it was commercial I went strait to my computer and bought it and played it like 20 times after wards. Its like a classic country song and I don't like classic country but man this song I just love. And there arn't very many songs that come around like this. The song fits me to a T. I'm a Cowgirl!â¥

Fireman or Marina Del Rey. I remember driving across west Texas at 3 am with that song(marina del rey) on the radio. I was on I-10 about an hour east of the New Mexico line. We always played Fireman on the jukebox at an old truck stop back in high school after nights of drinking in the woods, or after FFA meetings, or just whenever.

My two favorites are "Amarillo By Morning," which is just an exceptional song about someone chasing their dream and the cost of that chase; and "Let's Fall to Pieces Together," which is a good song but has an incredible opening line: "Pardon me, you left your tears on the jukebox, and I'm afraid they got mixed up with mine." The song could've ended right there and still been a classic.

Sarah I have about three that are my favorites
"Baby Blue", because it reminds me of my daughter who was seriously injured in a bad accident in 2001
"This Is Where The Cowboy Rides Away" I just love the lyrics to it.
"Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mind" I remember the many times I have danced to that song.
Then again I can't recall a bad George Strait song,

I honestly can't pick just one favorite song of his. I probably have about 101 songs of his that I love. George Strait is my favorite country singer, actually tied for first with Merle Haggard. Take care.
