Colored? Is he green?
There won't be any civil war, we haven't been civil to each other in ages.
Okay, I just couldn't resist.
But your language and your thinking is old fashioned.
Sure there will be some Neanderthals who still think of African-Americans as 'colored' or worse, but the majority don't anymore. Maybe some would prefer what they know, mainly a white male, Republican, but even more are tired of that same kind of government and are ready for a change.
If it should turn out to be a woman or a Black man talk radio may have a field day, but the majority of Americans will just take competent government, working for instead of against the middle class, and devil take the rest.

Colored? What color do you think he is?
I think the majority of white Americans are less racist than someone who believes there will be another civil war because of a black presidential candidate and possible president. You might need to work on this.

Colored, are you serious? I think it's best for you to use this description for your crayola crayons from now on. Really, I do not mean to be a jerk, but would you like it if I called you a dimwitted moron who just stepped out of a racist time machine from 1920? Probably not.
Also, no, there would be no civil war.

How about Obama? He seems to be better than either Clinton, let alone old Ted Kennedy, who never paid for his crimes of letting Mary Jo Kapekne die at Chappaquiddick. I do not care what color a President (or other person) is. No, it will not lead to a civil war. Let's face it, he has more "integrity" than Hillary-dickory-dock.

White will have no difficulty with a minority at the helm. Same is true for a women. Question is, what will minorities think. Once a minorty is president who will "the Man" be. I think when that happens, and it will someday happen. You will still have minorities claiming we are holding them down somehow, and life is still against them.

So, are ALL white people racist or something?
I don't give a damn about a candidates' race, gender, sexual preference, or religion. I just want a good leader who's not afraid to take on big business in the interests of the people.

One shouldn't care what color a person's skin pigment is unless they are a racist. The only concern should be is FREEDOM. That's why I would say check out Ron Paul.

Don't care the color, just the metal.
I'm more concerned with having a country that still shows fortitude that built it.
